Cyberjaya: coordinating a technology or partner briefing
A briefing with a live demo only works if someone owns the connectivity test before the day.

Optional: send a short event brief

Hi, I'd like to discuss professional-event planning support. Help needed: Not decided Event type: Not decided Event area: Selangor, Cyberjaya Date: Not decided Approx. attendees: Not decided Reference: EV-0956 / en Page: https://eventconsultant.com.my/areas/cyberjaya/
The short answer
Write a requirements brief that lists every demo, what it needs to connect to, and who tests it and when. Put a named owner against each test, including a rehearsal at the venue.
Do not assume the venue's bandwidth or network setup. Ask the venue for written details and test against them.
Demos set the technical requirements
List each demo or live system the briefing will show, with the devices, accounts and connections each one needs. A partner audience notices a failed demo more than a late start.
Then decide which demos can fall back to a recorded version and who decides that on the day.
What to verify for Cyberjaya
Each check is a question with who answers it.
- Which council covers the exact address? MPSepang's office is at Cyber 1, Cyberjaya, but its portal names Sepang as its district and does not list Cyberjaya as a covered area, so a place name does not settle it. Ask the venue for its full address and confirm with the council that applies.
- What network does the venue provide for presenters and for attendees? Ask the venue for written details of connections and any restrictions, and do not assume bandwidth.
- Who owns each connectivity test? Name one person per demo and record the date of the test.
- Is a rehearsal possible at the venue before the day? Ask the venue for access terms and hours in writing.
- What power, display and audio does each demo need? Ask each presenter and compare it with the venue's list.
- What is the fallback if a demo fails? Ask the programme owner to approve it in advance.
How Cyberjaya differs from neighbouring areas for this decision
This page owns the demo-and-connectivity brief. For an airport-linked meeting see Sepang and the KLIA corridor. For a smaller client briefing see Ara Damansara.
The council to check is the practical difference. Test your brief with the event RFP completeness checker and use the Selangor brief for the wider area.
Worked example · Fictional example
A fictional vendor plans a partner briefing
Fictional organisation and figures, for illustration only.
A fictional software vendor plans a partner briefing for about 50 attendees with two live demos. Each demo needs an internet connection and a presenter account.
The brief names a test owner for each demo and a rehearsal date at the venue, and lists a recorded fallback for one demo. All details are illustrative.
Use this yourself
Demo-and-connectivity requirements brief
Fill in one row per demo, then record who confirmed each point.

Handle it in-house, or bring in help?
Your team can usually handle this when
- There is one demo and the presenter can test it at the venue.
- The venue confirms its network details in writing.
Outside planning help earns its fee when
- Several demos depend on connectivity and nobody owns the tests.
- Venue, presenters and partners all need to be reconciled in one brief.
Want the demo brief written and tests owned?
An Event Blueprint can set out the demo requirements, the connectivity checks with named owners, and what the venue must confirm in writing. A project lead can coordinate presenters and the rehearsal. Send your demo list and the venue you are considering.
Questions organisers ask
Does the page assume the venue has good internet?
No. Ask the venue for written network details and test against them.
Who should run the test?
Name one person per demo, usually the presenter with a team member.
Which council covers Cyberjaya?
MPSepang is based in Cyberjaya, but its portal does not list Cyberjaya as a covered area, so confirm the address with the council that applies.
